Selling Your Watch
Selling Your Watch?
TWSPO is always looking to source the best luxury pre-owned watches, whether that be through a direct sale or a part exchange. We use an inspection process to ascertain suitable offers. Details and terms and conditions of the process are listed below.
- Before the inspection takes place, we will ask for pictures of the watch, box and any accessories that come with it. Please fill out the form to give us all the details we will need https://www.thewatchsource.co.uk/part_exchange.php . Using these pictures, we will make an offer for your watch. Offers received on email or over the phone are non-binding and are subject to a live inspection.
- After initial email inspection, we will need to have the watch shipped to our office to conduct a thorough inspection of the watch. It is your responsibility to securely send the watch to our office. We request you give us the tracking details so we can monitor the parcel. In person drop offs can be done via scheduled appointments. Please call 01442 801130 to arrange an appointment. TWSPO does not accept liability for loss or damage that occurs during the courier of watches to our office. By submitting your watch to us for inspection, you guarantee that it is free from finance, theft, or fraud and that you are the individual authorised to deal with the selling of the item*.
- A member of staff will be in touch to confirm receipt upon arrival of the watch, and we will then conduct the inspection. Please allow a up to 3 business days for the inspection to be complete (although they do not usually require this amount of time). Once the inspection is complete and deal agreed, we will issue payment via bank transfer to the specified account. We will notify you when payment has been released. Please allow up to 3 working days for payments to go through.
TWSPO reserves the right to amend or cancel the agreement based on (but not limited to) the following:
- The above listed criteria are not met by the customer*
- Discovery of previously undisclosed issues during the inspection, including (but not limited to) missing links/strap issues, movement defects etc.
- Discrepancies between what is shown in received photographs, ie if scratches or marks are significantly more obvious.
- Fluctuations in demand or value as dictated by the market.
You, the customer, retain the right to request the watch to be returned at any stage during the inspection if the conditions of the agreement have been changed. TWSPO will handle the safe return of your watch and anything else you sent with it in the condition it was sent to us, using a secure and insured mail service.
